According to reports by former residents, including Mr. Jonas Farias Gonçalves, and Ms. Joana Ribeiro de Carvalho, one of the first residents of that location was a man from Maranhão named José Domingos Siqueira, who previously resided at Praia de Apeú Salvador, and whose function it was that of a cowboy.

According to the reports of former residents, he would have fled to his region from his bosses, who at the time of the so-called “cattle ranch” 1 killed the cowboys in order not to pay what they owed them. He came with his wife and six children (one man and five women) from his homeland.

He crossed the river from a town called Limondeua and, arriving at the port, entered the forest, when they found a land where there was a lake that served as a drinking fountain for the animals. There, you built a small tent and started with your family some plantations for your subsistence.

To reach the banks of the Gurupi River, where Viseu was located, Domingos made a narrow path to the place. There he found fishermen and Indians inhabiting the region, a place where he later came to exchange his crops, as well as fish and olive oil, among other products. A few years later, another family arrived, called Ribeiro, also from Maranhão, who came from the Maranhão wars and, being unable to stay in Viseu, for fear of being caught, they followed the path that Domingos had followed, finding him.

With the permission of his countryman, the family settled in that place. Both families started their agricultural work (cassava, corn, beans, among others) and, later, those of fishing, as well as other activities that they carried out together.

Because they are narrow paths and still lagging behind in terms of development, there was no other way to transport their food other than on foot. Over time, the 1 Act of marking the initial letters of the owner's name on cattle with red-hot iron. 15 relationships between the two families became closer and, from then on, they formed other families, thus populating the place.

According to the testimonies of Mr. Jonas Farias Gonçalves and Mrs. Joana Ribeiro de Carvalho, according to what her ancestors said, the small place grew and some farmers started to create cattle farms in that region. Between that village and another, called Limondeua, there was a farm where some “women of life” (harlots) lived, as they called them at that time. That is why some men from Limondeua came to the place with some frequency, calling the place "Fazenda".

As time went by, many intrigues emerged and finally managed to end the harlots' farm, but they continued to call the village Fazenda. After a few years, the residents tried to change the name of Fazenda to “Alto Livramento”, a fact that was not successful, because the residents of other locations and, even of the place, were already accustomed to the referred name.

With the arrival of the first teacher, whose name was Raimunda Pelúcia Monteiro, it is known that you would often comment on the history of Brazil and the arrival of the Royal Family of Portugal. The inhabitants of the place saying that that village was a little piece of Brazil and that it had influences from the royal family, then established a connection between the place and the said family, thus being named after the locality of “Fazenda Real”.

The village developed more and more, forming branches, the economic and social system grew. As the development continued, the locality began its religious festivals. Today, it consists of 185 families with a population of 1208 inhabitants.

It has some social and ecclesial organizations, such as residents' associations, associations of small farmers and the pastoral care of family, children and youth, in addition to a water supply microsystem, community headquarters, church, telephone, electricity, as well as urban transport. daily.
